Week 37: Back to Normal

Yesterday was a very normal, quick, uneventful appointment with my primary doctor. She said she was 'happily surprised' to learn that the baby turned on its own from the transverse position. In her experience, at least, she said that they (transverse babies vs. breech babies) tend to stay put, especially that far into pregnancy. So WAY TO GO, baby. High five to you when you eventually make your entrance!

She did say that there is always a chance it could still get out of position again since I have 'plenty' of fluid, but she thinks it will stay put at this point.

I'm still only 1cm dilated, so I feel more calm about things now. Last week, I started to wonder if I was going to go early, but now I feel like I still have pleeeeenty of time (like with Lewis).

Back next Monday!

I do have some 'real' posts to post, too, when I make the time to do so. I'm working on Lewis' Halloween costume and freezer meals this week, so I'll try to post this weekend.

  1. Yea! So glad baby is in the right position now. Can't wait to hear the chosen name and see him or her!
