Last week, Tonya, Carlton, and I ventured out to another open gym place that we've never visited. It worked out really nicely--this place (KaZoing!) has separate rooms for inflatables, a craft, and other toys (like a train table, play house, etc.). It wasn't nearly as crowded as some other places we have visited, and the separate rooms helped to keep it fresh for Lewis.
We started out in the toy room where they had a huge train table, and then we moved to the inflatables room. Lewis asked to go back to the train table room towards the end, too, so we ended our time there. It is open for 2 hours which seemed to be a good length of time for us.
First, the toy room:
Sending cars flying down the ramps
The train table was massive and awesome.
I forget if he was waving or high five-ing or what. :)
Onto the Inflatables room:
It's blurry, but Tonya had to go in and 'rescue' Lewis and Carlton from this one. They couldn't quite find their way out. :)
Up one side
And down the other
Back to the toy room:
I giggled and thought Lewis looked particularly large in that tiny car. :)
Funny thing, though--that day, I finally met another boy (who turned 3 in November) who is taller than Lewis. Lewis is about 3 months younger, but this boy was noticeably taller by at least a few inches. I think that is the first time we've met someone close to him in age who wasn't like a head shorter than Lewis.
Fun in the play house
It was a fun morning!
We went up to Waycross to do some volunteer work last weekend, which was super fun. Lewis was out of school Monday for MLK and had another snow day on Tuesday, so my grand plans of having time 'off' are not working out with ol' Mother Nature's plans. Hopefully next week will be better! We're having fun, in the meantime. :)
